DuPont™ Tyvek® AirGuard Sd23 – reliable vapor barrier for ceilings and walls
DuPont™ Tyvek® AirGuard Sd23 is a vapor barrier that effectively protects the thermal insulation layer from excess moisture in the room. It has extremely low air convection permeability, preventing moisture penetrating the structure and eliminating uncontrolled airflows inside the building. The result is better thermal insulation, greater comfort, and lower energy costs.
Optimal interior protection – DuPont™ AirGuard® SD23
According to the latest European energy efficiency standards, reducing heat loss caused by internal air infiltration is essential. A properly selected vapor barrier helps to ensure the thermal efficiency of the structure and protects against condensation.
DuPont™ AirGuard solutions insulate and keep wall structures dry, reduce heat loss, and increase the airtightness of the building. For best results, it is recommended to seal the gaps between insulation layers, diffusion membrane joints, cable or pipe penetrations, windows, and other structural elements. Specialized DuPont™ accessories and Tyvek® adhesive tapes are ideal for this purpose, ensuring 100% airtightness.
Key benefits of DuPont™ Tyvek® AirGuard Sd23:
- Reduces heat loss due to convection.
- Prevents condensation from forming in thermal insulation.
- Transparent material for easier installation.
- Water-resistant, ensuring building airtightness.
- Excellent mechanical strength and durability.
Application:
Vapor insulation for ceilings and walls in humid and cool climates. Ideal for structures where protection against air convection and moisture penetration into the insulation is required.
