Tyvek® double-sided acrylic tape – for reliable bonding of diffusion and vapor barrier membranes
Material composition: acrylic adhesive / polyvinyl acetate mesh
Product use:
Tyvek® double-sided adhesive tape is designed for sealing diffusion membranes together and attaching them to flat surfaces. It adheres perfectly to Tyvek® membranes as well as various other materials, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, plastic, masonry, metal, and wood. The tape effectively seals roof, wall, and floor joints, gaps around pipes, electrical cables, antennas, chimneys, and ventilation elements. Suitable for use even in high humidity conditions.
Properties:
- Excellent resistance to aging, water, moisture, environmental influences, and chemicals.
- Extremely strong adhesion to various surfaces.
- Easy to install thanks to a special separation strip.
- Reliably ensures tightness even in complex structures.
Storage and installation conditions:
- The surface to be bonded must be dry and clean (free of dust, grease, or solvents).
- Recommended for use at ambient temperatures above 0 °C.
- A primer can be used for better adhesion.
- Store in the original packaging in a clean and dry environment at a temperature between +5 °C and +25 °C, away from direct sunlight.
- In areas where the tape is exposed to direct sunlight, it must be covered within 3 months.
